Samuel  A. Garcia
Owner/Funeral Director

 Samuel A. Garcia, a Licensed Funeral Director, founder, and owner, established Calvary Funeral Home in Eunice New Mexico in 1996.  He later in the year 2000, opened a second funeral home in Hobbs, New Mexico called Calvary Memorial Funeral Home.  Both Funeral Homes are family owned and operated. It's staff  consists of two full time  office secretaries, one office manager, one intern embalmer-funeral director, six funeral services attendants, two maintenance men, and one yard helper.
 

  Mr. Garcia started his first employment career with a local funeral home in Carlsbad, New Mexico.  He worked as a funeral attendant and an embalmer assistant.  His second employment was with the  New Mexico State Police as Captain Field District Commander.  After 25 years of law enforsment services he retired and later attended  Mortuary Institue in Dallas, Texas.  
  Mr. Garcia was elected President of his class and president of Pi Sigma Eta (Funeral Directors Faternity).  He graduated with honors from Mortuary Institue in Dallas, Texas.
